A&W for Great Treats

In Carroll, Iowa is a great little place to eat if you get there in the right seasons. A & W is locally owned and operated and is open spring through fall. They serve ice cream treats, a variety of hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, cheese balls, homemade root beer and more. The seating is limited but it's worth waiting if you can't get a booth right away. The prices are great and the food tastes better than the same price-range competitors like McDonald's or Burger King. The service is great as well. I definitely recommend eating here if you're in Carroll and they're in open season. Their root beer floats are the best and they make it right there at the restaurant. If you're in a hurry you can utilize their drive through. Either way you can't go wrong.
